UP SLET 2023: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Uttar Pradesh SLET is otherwise known as Uttar Pradesh (UP) SET and it is conducted among all aspiring students as a state-level eligibility test. Uttar Pradesh (UP) SLET 2023 or Uttar Pradesh SET is a common examination conducted among all students in terms of checking their eligibility level. This is a common SLET examination for all students of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the University Grants Commission (UGC) has been conducting the eligibility test for lectureship on Humanities and Social Science subjects. The council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has been conducting the eligibility test for lectureship in the Science subjects.

UP SLET 2023: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria

The government has decided to conduct the Uttar Pradesh State Level Eligibility Test (UP-SLET) 2021 once again in the current year to help more number of students to apply for UP-SLET 2023. Students who pass this examination on the lines of the National Eligibility Examination of the University Grants Commission will be eligible for recruitment as Assistant Professor in the State University’s Degree College. UP SLET 2023: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria.

Eligibility Criteria to sit for SET  

Any Indian National who obtained Master Degree or equivalent Degree with at-least 55% score (without rounding up) is eligible to sit in the SET. However the Schedules Cast (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Disability (PWD) category students who have secured al-least 50% scores (without rounding up) in Master Degree or equivalent examination are eligible for the exam.

Students are required to apply online application form from the official portal. After successfully submission of application form, students need to take print out of duly filled application form for future use.

Exam Pattern of SLET

The test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will have only objective type questions of the following forms

• Multiple Choices
• Matching
• Assertion and Reasoning
• True and False

The paper will be held on a day in two separate sessions

Change of Exam Centres Criteria

Application for change of exam centre on plain paper will be received by the SLET Commission office within 07 working days of last date of submission of forms. The centre change fees is Rs.300/- per students. The application for change of centre must be forwarded by the Co-coordinator of the original centre. Along with the centre change fee. No request for change of centre will be accepted by the SLET commission after the specified date.
