Eligibility Criteria for UPTET Online Recruitment 2024

Applicants need to ensure their eligibility for examination before applying for UPTET 2024. Candidates can check their eligibility criteria for both primary and upper primary level from below:

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Level (Class I-V):

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or college is eligible to apply.
• OR
• Students should have passed National Teacher Education Parishad from a recognized educational Institution OR
• Applicants should have  completed BTCT from the Institute recognized by the National Teacher Education Council, Uttar Pradesh OR
• The Candidates must have two years diploma in education from the Indian Rehabilitation Parishad.OR

UPTET Eligibility for Junior High School Level (Class VI-VIII):

Bachelor or Master degree from a recognized University/institute affiliated with UGC or NCTE OR

Applicants should have completed senior secondary school level examination (intermediate) with minimum 50% marks can also apply.OR

Completed 4 years degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), BA/B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. From NCTE recognized institute are also eligible.OR

Graduation or Post graduation from any UGC recognized university/.

Application Fee

• Fee payment can be done either online or offline mode.
• Online options include payment by SBI Internet Banking / Debit Cards / Credit Cards/internet banking facility of other banks.
• Offline payment can be done by the help of e-challan of SBI bank slip.
• The fee structure varies for candidates from a different category.

UPTET Admit Card:

• Admit card of Uttar Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test will be issued by UPBEB authority on the official site.
• It is expected that UPTET Admit card will get released by the month of October.
• Admit card will not be sent to any candidate by post so, Candidates will have to download it from the official site. It is important to carry admit card to the examination hall it consists of details like  – the language of paper, exam center, date & time slot of the exam, roll number and photo of the candidate.
