Breaking News, 5th May 2024: WBSSC published an official notice and said that the West Bengal School Service Commission will publish the SLST Recruitment’s latest notification for the upcoming teacher recruitment.

New Rules Of Teacher Recruitment Of WBSSC

In this rule, the levels of teacher recruitment are the same but this time the exam pattern has changed. In three different exams will have taken by the WBSSC in the new pattern of the examination. In this process, the test will be taken on both MCQ and Written. The marks have increased and that is 300 of the total value but the exam is for 350 Marks.

Easy process to fill WB SLST 2024 Application Form

• Those who want to enroll in SLST 2024 should fill the application form from the official website of the board.
• Fill personal information like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Qualifications, Phone number; Address, etc.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
• At the time of the filing form, you will make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria required to apply for the particular category.
• Read other instructions appropriately so that no problem occurs in the further process.
• Any request for the correction in form should be made before the final date or else the request will not be entertained by the authority.
• Applicants should keep the hard copy of the application form with themselves for further use.

Payment can be made online (through Net banking/ credit card/ debit card) or offline (through e-challan within 24 hours from the submission of the application form) in the nearest branch of Allahabad bank in West Bengal. The fee will be not be refunded in any circumstance.

WB SLST 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• Minimum age limit should be 20 years and the maximum is 40 years.
• Upper age limit will get relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 8 years for Physically Handicapped Candidates
• Graduate/Post Graduate or equivalent

Note: 

Relaxation of 5% in minimum marks will be applicable for reserved categories.

WB SLST 2024 Exam Pattern

• Exam mode: Exam is conducted offline.
• Duration: You will get one hour to complete the written test
• Language: Language of the paper will be bilingual, English and Hindi except for the sections that are based on the concerned language subjects for test.
• Selection will be based on Merit that is determined by the result of written examination.
• The written exam consists of 55 Multiple Choice Questions and each question will carry one mark.

After producing all the required documents before the board, applicants will get selected based on personal interviews. Male candidates are not recommended for appointments in girl’s schools.

WB SLST 2024 Admit Card

Hall Ticket of WB SLST 2024 will be available online in the official website. Applicants need to download the admit card by entering their registration number and password provided at the time of online application. Students need to read instructions on hall ticket and follow them.

The hall ticket contains all the necessary details like the Center name, Center Address, Roll number, etc.

No applicants will be allowed to enter the examination center unless he/she produces the admit card. Hall ticket will be generally available one week before the exams.
